Yeah... hubby's got the H1N1... But you know when the doctor ordered a swab and blood test? On Wednesday when hubby requested for discharge!! I believe the doctor (an ENT specialist mind you!) was thinking that if the results are favorable, then he will discharge hubby on Thursday.
Oh, just so you know, Wednesday was Day 11 of hubby being sick. Meaning it has already passed the 10 days compulsory quarantine period... The hospital did do a blood test when he was admitted but I guess they left out H1N1. Don't ask me how and why... Had rolled my eyes too much that it hurts now! Am speechless too.
They took the blood on Wednesday morning and at almost midnight (please don't ask me why it took so long... maybe the blood was sent to the moon for testing), hubby called me to say that the nurse just told him that he has H1N1 and that he may not be able to come home on Thursday (today) as he had planned. And then the next day, hubby phoned again to say that Doc said he can be discharged coz he was over the danger period and that he was getting better already. So we pick hubby up and he came home. :-) He's still bit feverish but is feeling much better though very lethargic.
Now, am worried for Zen and I coz we visited him everyday and I even brought Zen and my dinner there to eat so that we can spend more time with hubby... sigh... Hope neither of us nor those who visited him nor even the nurses are infected...

what type of hospital is this? so inefficient? hmm, i suggest u get all family members to get a test done..so that u can a piece of mind..

oh no.. glad to hear he's better..but hope that you guys somehow got immune to it!!!!
