Brush Teeth with Hand Soap!

Nowadays, Zen knows that he has to brush his teeth before going to bed. He always (and I mean always) make a fuss about it but we were determined not to give in and insist that he brushes them. However, he tried using toothpaste a few times but he didn't like it so we let it be and will try again off and on.

Anyway, when Zen was brushing his teeth just now, he pressed some liquid hand soap onto his toothbrush and brushed his teeth with it! Dunn why he did that though... But he went "ARGHHHH!!" and hubby made him rinse his mouth many many times.

One thing for sure, his mouth is clean :-)

did he pressed the soap on purpose?

Baby C does not like toothpaste, even with First Teeth toothpaste. So I brush her teeth w/o any toothpaste. Every night, I use salt water to wipe her teeth and gums.

LOL... how innovative! My girl loves to brush teeth since I introduced her the colourful and flavorful Darlie tooth paste, every day she will request for a different taste of tooth paste... hehe, I really spoil her hor?!:p

Some hand soaps look like toothpaste gels, so be sure to get Zen remember the difference between the two. Or better yet, label the hand soap container! That would be a fun activity to do with your kid. :)
