We Can't Go To Mid Valley Anymore

Somehow, whenever we go to Mid Valley or The Gardens, at least one of us will fall sick.

Take last year, we were at Mid Valley on a Saturday after not going there for ages. You see, we kinda dread the parking or rather lack of parking on weekends there so we have not been to Mid Valley for a long long time. I used to go early in the morning and leave when the crowd starts coming in but with the kids, it's bit difficult to do so. Anyway, I digress. Back to story. The following day (Sunday), was the day hubby started having very high fever, which later turned out to be H1N1! Don't think he contacted the virus at Mid Valley as it takes about 3 days before the symptoms show up. But still...

Fast forward to this year. Last Thursday, we decided to take the kids to Mid Valley to jalan-jalan. It was fun for them but on that night, Zen started coughing really badly. Poor kid.
He just recovered from flu a few days ago. :-( And by today, Kay and hubby too are infected. As for me, am taking lots of Vit C and garlic supplements and drinking glasses after glasses of honey lime.

But don't worry... that doesn't mean that Mid Valley is jinxed! So please don't say that I told you to stay away from this mall ya... In case I get sued by them!! Out of curiosity, did something like this happen to anyone of you before? Maybe not malls but any other place?

yes, my daughter fall sick oncewhen she's barely 1 year old after returned from the mall. Shopping complex is a close area, of course alot of viruses will be lurking around. I don't really agree when parents bring their small baby to shopping mall, since their immune system are weak, not encourageable. Even paed said that. But older kids, sure be no much problem if their immune system is good.

I guess the less we bring the kids out, the easier they get sick once they come contact with viruses. When they are more exposed to viruses, they will be able to fight them off better. That's just my opinion and excuse for bringing my kids out shopping :)

Oh, my family always goes to Mid Valley for outing but so far we are OK. We go once or twice a month and spend more than 4 hours there.

More often my kids got the bugs from school, whenever I heard him said his friend vomitted at school, I start to worry...

But lately, I don't know how I became the one who spread the bugs in our house. I had sore throat quite often.:(
